ANZTEC - Economic Cooperation Agreement

The New Zealand Commerce and Industry Office (NZCIO) in Taipei and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Wellington are pleased to announce that negotiations launched in May 2012 have successfully concluded an economic cooperation agreement between New Zealand and the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu (Chinese Taipei), both members of the World Trade Organisation.

The Agreement between New Zealand and the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu on Economic Cooperation (ANZTEC) was signed on 10/07/2013. The text of ANZTEC, along with an explanation of the process that will be followed before the ANZTEC enters into force, is available online.
