Passports

Only the Department of Internal Affairs passport offices in London, Sydney or New Zealand can issue a passport. The New Zealand Commerce and Industry Office (NZCIO) can assist with forwarding passport applications to Wellington or London. Please contact the NZCIO for further information.

Lost, stolen or damaged passports

Emergency Travel Documents

If you have to travel urgently, you may be eligible to apply for an Emergency Travel Document(ETD). Full details of how to apply for an ETD, including application forms are available at the DIA website
