Would you like to organise an alumni event in your city?
We know that many Taiwan-based NZ alumni don't live in Taipei. We'd be happy to work with you on alumni events in other cities around Taiwan, to coincide with visits by the NZCIO Director, or other New Zealanders. If you're interested, please email the alumni coordinator at
joyce.hu@mfat.govt.nz to let us know where you are - we will keep your interest in mind when planning future events.
Other chances to meet up
Did you know that alumni are very welcome to attend social events arranged for the New Zealand community – things like Waitangi Day and ANZAC day commemorations. If you're interested in hearing about up-coming NZCIO events, email your contact details to
joyce.hu@mfat.govt.nz and we'll put you on our contact list. If you're a New Zealand citizen or have permanent Resident status, you could also register with NZCIO at the same time.
In addition there's a regular Taipei Sundowners (networking happy hour) organised by the Australian and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce on the first Friday each month. You're welcome to attend.
