People wishing to invest funds in a business and live in New Zealand can apply for residence under our Investor/Investor Plus guide(external link), or a visitor's visa valid for up to two years under our Temporary Retirement Category(external link).

Entrepreneurs

Experienced business people wishing to purchase or establish a business in New Zealand can apply for a work visa under our Long Term Business Visa/Permit Category(external link) and then apply for residence under the Entrepreneur/Entrepreneur Plus(external link) policies. Please Note: All Business Migration applications should be lodged by mail to the Business Migration Branch(external link) in Wellington.
